Overview

The activity dashboard gives you an overview of the contributors activity in several areas. The activity dashboard has 2 views with different purposes, which I will detail here:
  • All Contributors
  • Only Active Contributors

All Contributors View

This section is showing all the available contributors, both the imported ones, as well as the ones found by analyzing your enabled repositories. Contributors can come from 2 sources:
  1. Imported contributors: those that have been imported either via an external integration with a HR tool, or via a CSV upload.
  2. Detected contributors: these are all the contributors that have been found by analyzing the Git repositories that were enabled for this particular organization
Information about each contributor:
  • Name
  • Email
  • Team
  • Role
  • Average Monthly Effective Output
  • Found Commits
  • Analyzed Commits
  • External Activity

Available Filters

The following filters are available for the all contributors view:
  • No Activity - no activity was found for this contributor
  • Only External Activity - see section below
  • No Analyzed Commits - commits were found, but none of them was analyzed
  • Active - contributors with analyzed commits

Adding External Activity

Organization admins or team admins will be able to add an external activity to the contributor in case its activity is not captured by commits, or other Git activity that we track.

Only Active Contributors View

This view includes all the contributors that have at least 1 analyzed commit. Since we have detailed output date for each contributor that is included in this view, there more output fields and filtering options available. For any period (default last 12 months, but any period can be chosen from the filter), the following stats are available for each customer:
  • (Analyzed) Commits
  • Effective Output
  • Total Output
  • Waste Rate
  • Quality Score
  • Added Functionality
  • Refactoring
  • Rework
  • Removed Functionality
  • Active Months
If not specified otherwise, all stats are monthly averages.
